These Raspberry Pi network tutorials are designed to help you improve your home network and help you to give it extra functionality that most affordable routers don't provide.

If you’re looking to set up a secure VPN WiFi point or just looking to extend your WiFi range, then these projects are perfect. Most of them are relatively easy to set up, so they’re ideal for both new and advanced users.

There are a few things that might complicate these tutorials, especially when dealing with WiFi. For the best compatibility, I would suggest upgrading to the Pi 3 and be using the inbuilt WiFi.

Setting up a network can be the easiest or the most frustrating thing in the world. Many different factors that may influence the difficulty of setting up your network to how you want it.

These network tutorials will hopefully make it easier but keep mind slight differences in equipment can complicate a simple process. Concerning WiFi, most of our newer projects are based on the Pi 3’s inbuilt WiFi rather than a third-party dongle. The inbuilt Wifi makes dealing with WiFi a little more comfortable.

If you’re looking for different projects such as Pi servers, then be sure to check out that page. There is quite a range of servers that you can setup on the Raspberry Pi. The tutorials are perfect if you find yourself needing to achieve a task but don’t need a fully-fledged dedicated server.
