After a long road of building, testing, and more coffee than we’d like to admit, we’re so happy to finally announce that Cup and Counter is now available to play on Steam.
Cup and Counter is a coffee shop simulation game developed by my brother and me. You will make drinks, serve food, manage your employees, expand your shop, and try to keep the business running smoothly.

What You Can Do in Cup and Counter
- Make every drink by hand: Grind the coffee beans, pull the espresso shot, steam the milk, and pour each drink yourself.
- Expand your menu: Serve espresso, classic coffee drinks, teas, flavored syrups, iced drinks, frappes, milkshakes, and affogatos. New recipes and ingredients unlock as your shop grows.
- Serve food: Stock the food cabinets, plate up for dine-in, and box it for takeaway.
- Hire a team – Employ baristas and waiters, pay their wages, and keep them happy enough to stay
- Design your cafe: Place furniture, change the walls and flooring, and decorate the space until it feels just right.
- A living neighborhood: The world around your shop includes pedestrians, traffic, changing weather, and a regular flow of customers.
- Manage the business: Set your prices, order supplies before the next rush, keep an eye on your expenses, and avoid letting ingredients spoil.
- Play at your own pace: Chill Mode removes much of the pressure, while the adjustable day length lets you choose between shorter or longer shifts.
The Cup and Counter Roadmap
Our main goal after release is to listen closely to player feedback.
We already have a few smaller improvements and additions that we are working on. However, we also want to hear what players think is missing, what could be improved, and which parts of the game they enjoy the most.
We will continue fixing issues and improving the experience as more people begin playing.
Played the Cup and Counter Demo?
The full game builds on everything available in the Cup and Counter demo.
You will have access to the complete drink menu, food service, employees, shop expansions, and plenty of additional items and upgrades to unlock.
Thank you to everyone who played the demo and shared feedback with us. Your suggestions helped shape the game more than you might realize.
A Small Ask
Cup and Counter was developed by just my brother and me, so every bit of support makes a big difference.
If you enjoy the game, leaving a Steam review helps more people discover it and gives us valuable feedback on what to work on next.
Should you encounter a bug or find something that does not feel quite right, you can join our Discord server or leave a message on the Steam discussion board. We will be keeping a close eye on both after launch.
You can learn more about Cup and Counter and play it now on Steam.
